With the vast growing young people buying Digital SLR, having a small portfolio of their wedding friends or relatives, then they take the leap forward and letting the world aware that they are now photographers and start to go commercial photographing weddings. Little do they know that in wedding photography business, a lot of thing must be taken into account. Not only just taking the candid out of the bride and groom as well as the immediate families, they must also be able to blend into the crowd, pose the bride and groom but only to take the naturals out of them, knowing and applying marketing strategy, following up on clients’ enquiries, tools they need to get every wedding / prewedding photo look and feel different, other advertising medias, getting to know one’s gears, designing an album, where to get wedding album done, what works – what not, album layouts, presenting one’s works, building up portfolio, and a lot of other things.

With knowledge and practical experiences as a wedding photographer – as a business owner – and also leader in Wedding Photography in Indonesia, we are going to share with you in 3 full days and will set you to be a better photographer with strong mission, strong tools that are practical and have been tested out in real business practice. Either you are already a wedding photographer wishing to enhance or to improve your skills/business/marketing/promotion for better results thus more dealings, or a novice/beginner photographer thinking about going into Wedding Photography Business and what to look or watch out for – this workshop is definitely for you.

“For the love and the money”
- 3 Day Workshop:

Day 1:

- Little Introduction about us and you. It is a getting to know each other session.
- Individual image critiques and your problems, breaking thru mental blocks, psychological blockages will be crushed on this day.
- We will show some images from our recent weddings / pre-weddings and discuss our approach to creating those images.
- What gears are most suitable for what event and when to use what precisely. There will be very little discussions on gears and little technical stuff.
- Photography skills you must know to achieve certain results the way you want it and nail them every time.
- Developing a winning mind-set, commitments and long/short term objectives. Every successful photographers have this winning mind-set!
- Let’s talk about business and the money first. Wedding photography business is a big business. The money involved is a big number. But how to win your clients?
- Day 1 ends and we will leave impressions in your mind.

Day 2:

- A prewedding session outdoor. (with model: bride and groom). How to approach our client in a prewedding session. How to concept each prewedding sessions differently? How to evoke emotions?
- How to Pose your bride and groom in a prewedding session. We will give you tips and resources and very practical ways that you will never run out of poses.
- You will learn to take your clients out, make their pictures, go back to your home/studio, edit those photos and present them into an
album.
- You will learn/achieve winning workflow. From Making pictures to albums. From dreams to reality.
- We will discuss quite a lot on our designed prewedding album. What’s the stories behind them and how to achieve them with your own style and design. We want you to gain portfolio from this day 2.
- You will build a quality portfolio from this Day 2 you can use to impress your future clients.
- Day 2 ends, again leaving big impressions in your mind the secrets to our image making process.

Day 3:

- Reviewing from the last days workshop [day 1 and 2].
- We will talk In Depth about Wedding Photography in a Wedding photojournalist style. This is why we are awarded in WPJA [Wedding PhotoJournalist Association]
- How to create pricing for your service. We will share with you a formula which you can use to your business that suit any business levels.
- How to hire second photographer/freelancer/part-time, editors/fulltimer editor/etc and make them to work to match your style and still making money on your part.
- How to do and pose for group photos and what camera setting / tools you will need to nail them on the spot each time.
- How to evoke the emotion of the bride and groom and family members on the D-Day
- How to pose naturally the bride and groom? We will share with you how we direct the bride and groom on the D-day and make them look natural and beauty at the same time with our simple directions.
- We will talk a lot on the business mind set such as: writing a proposal, doing your pricing formula for your services, creating social networking page and make them look professional. Tips and secret you can apply to your business mind set.
- End of Day 3 leaving you with every tools you are actually going to use and so you are ready to take your business/photography into the next level of modern yet timeless portraits.
